What would you need me to do?

We have a Steering Group that meets once a month, and several Working Groups who are progressing funding, consultation, legal and financial aspects of the project.  We also have plans to run events and fundraisers but need volunteers to help us do this. We've listed some of the tasks below.   Have a read, and if you think you could help, please contact us.  You can give as little or as much time as you wish.

Organising and attending events


This could be as little as handing out the pens at the monthly quiz night in The Haven, or perhaps you feel up to organising and running a larger event such as a ceilidh.  

 

Helping to run a raffle


Can you sell raffle tickets to your friends and family?   Or can you ask businesses if they would donate a raffle gift?

Great with people?


Maybe you could help with the ongoing community consultation and seeking out more ideas on what the future of The Haven could be?  

 

It's all about the admin


Perhaps you have a flair for administration and wouldn't mind helping out with all the various forms and admin tasks we have to complete.

 

Good at project managing and co-ordinating?


You may want a more time-intensive role, such as taking on the task of being our Project Co-ordinator, or joining one of the Working Groups to drive progress. 

 

Coming up with new ideas


There will be plenty of opportunities we haven't thought of yet to further involve the community and fundraise. Get involved and be part of the future planning.
